Get ready for your first race of the season with Capital Tri
Starting Tuesday 27 March 2018 Capital Tri will be coaching a 6-week Bike & Run training course on the closed-road circuit at Lee Valley VeloPark. The sessions will be aimed at first-timers looking for an introduction to triathlon / duathlon ahead of their first race or novice athletes who are looking for some simple and easy tips on how to improve. These sessions will get you primed for your first race of the season.
For novice athletes, the coaches will walk you through the basic skills required in triathlon and duathlon, such as bike handling and transition, and give you the knowledge and confidence to enjoy your race.
Week 1 (27 March): Introduction to Transition skills + brick (bike & run) session
Week 2 (3 April): Race sim (duathlon: run/bike/run)
Week 3 (10 April): Bike handling and time trial
Week 4 (17 April): Race sim (duathlon: run/bike/run)
Week 5 (24 April): Race preparation + brick (bike & run) session
Week 6 (1 May): Race sim (duathlon: run/bike/run)

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
- a bike, a helmet, running shoes and you can bring bike shoes if you have them but not required
Capital Tri and Triathlon England have teamed up to provide you with a special introductory rate - you can sign up for all six weeks for just £26, saving yourself £34 on weekly bookings.
