Description

Let us and Wrekin Triathlon Club help you take your first steps through your multisport journey.

British Triathlon and Go Tri are proud to support this fantastic triathlon club in hosting their sessions as part of Tri January. 

This is a positive step for individuals taking their first steps in multisport and who want to improve their skills. 
Lots of advice for everyone and how to start in your multisport journey.

Venue: Wrekin College Sports Centre, Wellington, Shropshire, TF1 3LX

Time: 15:00-16:00

Cost: £5 pay as you go or £15 for a 4 weeks block of sessions. Please click here for the block booking session. 

Time Table for all dates: 

Sunday 2nd February 
Introduction to Aquathlon/Triathlon talk followed by Introductory Swim session (assessment of ability)

Sunday 9th February   
Introduction to Transition and Running skills (assessment of ability)

Sunday 16th February   
Swim Skills followed by Run Skills (approx 30 mins each)

 Sunday 23rd February  
Introduction to Aquathlon - Aquathlon briefing and fun race
 

 Please register and book your place with our GO TRI community towards the right stating 'Book here' and to find out more or if you have any qiuestions, please get in touch here.They will then meet you 10 minutes prior to the sessions to introduce themselves. 

What you'll need

General kit list:

  • Trainers
  • Shorts/Leggings
  • T-Shirt or top
  • Water bottle
  • Towel

Swimming:

  • 1 or 2 piece costume for ladies
  • Trunks or shorts for men
  • A wetsuit if your swim is open water
  • Don't forget your goggles!

Biking:

  • Bike* (any bike will do)
  • Helmet
  • * If this GO TRI activity uses spin bikes, you don't need to bring your own bike *

Running:

  • All you need is a pair of trainers
