THIS TRAINING DAY IS FOR ANYONE WHO HAS ENTERED GO TRI LEEDS ON SATURDAY 8TH JUNE 2019.

Entered GO TRI Leeds on Saturday 8th June 2019? Then let us help you prepare.

Leeds City Council have teamed up with British Triathlon to bring you this action packed day of tailored sessions to help prepare you for your Open Water Swim, Bike, Run and that all important Transition. The team of coaches will share hints and tips and offer training advice to keep you going until the big day.

On the morning you will be divided into four groups.  Each group will rotate so that you will cover the GO TRI Run Route, GO TRI Cycle Route, Transition Practice and Open Water Swimming.  We have wetsuits available for the swim session, but you will need to provide your own bike and helmet for the cycle and transition element. 

There are two training days (please just book on one).  This booking link is for Saturday 18th May.

When? Sunday 18th May from 1030am to 3.15pm

Where? Roundhay Park, Leeds (meet under The Lakeside Cafe)

This is a FREE Session. Places are limited and will go on a first come first serve basis to those that have already entered GO TRI Leeds.  

Information regarding the day, what to bring and what you will be doing will be emailed on Friday 10th May.

What you'll need

General kit list:

  • Trainers
  • Shorts/Leggings
  • T-Shirt or top
  • Water bottle
  • Towel

Swimming:

  • 1 or 2 piece costume for ladies
  • Trunks or shorts for men
  • A wetsuit if your swim is open water
  • Don't forget your goggles!

Biking:

  • Bike* (any bike will do)
  • Helmet
  • * If this GO TRI activity uses spin bikes, you don't need to bring your own bike *

Running:

  • All you need is a pair of trainers
