GO TRI  Triathlon Training Course - Priory Rise School 

Phoenix Tri MK can help you train for your first triathlon or GO TRI, or simply to learn the skills and techniques needed to give triathlon a go with this 5 week programme of triathlon skills in based at Priory Rise School, Tattenhoe in Milton Keynes. 

Our qualified coaches will deliver 5 sessions tailored to complete beginners to improve your swimming, cycling, running and transition techniques. None of these 5 sessions include swimming, however you will be invited to attend one of Phoenix Tri MKs swimming sessions free of charge. 

This 5 week course will lay the foundations for you to be able to take part in your first triathlon event. 

During the course you will practise cycling, running and transition techniques, all designed for novices, all we ask is that you come with an open mind and willingness to have a bit of fun. The sessions are open for age 8 - 11 year olds. 

The sessions will run on Friday evenings and will last 1 hour 3:25pm - 4:25pm on the following dates; 

Friday 14th September 

Friday 21st September 

Friday 28th September

Friday 5th October 

Friday 12th October  

Each participant will recieve a club T shirt and a certificate of achievement. 

What you'll need

General kit list:

  • Trainers
  • Shorts/Leggings
  • T-Shirt or top
  • Water bottle
  • Towel

Swimming:

  • 1 or 2 piece costume for ladies
  • Trunks or shorts for men
  • A wetsuit if your swim is open water
  • Don't forget your goggles!

Biking:

  • All you need is a Bike

Running:

  • All you need is a pair of trainers
