TRI JANAURY Learn How Agility, Balance and Control Can Improve Your Running

Many people develop an economic bad style of running. You see it frequently when people run regular routes with little concern about their form.

Developing the correct form requires some flexibility, strength, balance, agility and control.

Retuning a runner out of bad habits in to better form results in a faster runner who is injured less frequently.

In the sports hall of Boldon Community Centre you can develop some of the key skills and strengths to become a better runner.

The sessions will be run by Suncity Triathlon Club have many years of experience at delivering run training to novices and experienced runners.

The minimum requirement for this session is to be at least 8 years old in the year of this session, that’s it.

We sometimes have more women than men attend this session because it is safe and fun.


What you will need to bring

Whatever you feel comfortable running in, a small mat ( or you can share a huge one) , a drink and some chat as this tends to be deceptive session, it feels easy and people sometimes talk at intervals.

People sail through the session not feeling like they have done too much but it can leave your muscles a bit tender a couple of days later. This shows you have made a difference.


Dates. Times and Location

WHEN starts Monday 6 January 6.45 for a briefing and 7pm start the session will last until 8pm (OTHER SESSIONS INCLUDE 13/20/27 January)

PRICE £3 per session for members and £4 for non-members

LEVEL Novice upwards

INFO Minimum age 8 in the year of the session
