Description

Belvoir Tri Club invite you to take part in our GO TRI Aquathlon (Ages 15 and up), or Junior Triathlon (Ages 8-19).

The Aquathlon consists of a 200m swim then a 3200m run - ideal for adults and juniors wishing to try out a multi sport event for the first time, or to practice and improve their performance.

Our GO TRI Junior Triathlon consists of a pool swim, followed by bike, then run - on the nearby athletics track.

The age groups available are:

• TriStar Start - age 8
• TriStar 1 - age 9-10
• TriStar 2 - age 11-12
• TriStar 3 - age 13-14
• Youth ages 15-19.

Ages are calculated based on the participant's age as of 31st Dec.

As a GO TRI event these races are relaxed and friendly, with lots of encouragement, in a flat and safe location - starting in the swimming pool and moving through a closed private access road to the adjacent athletics stadium for the cycle and run legs of the races, both on the track. 

Registration is from 5pm with the 1st waves starting at 6pm.

This will form part of a series of 4 GO TRI events (on 20th May, 17th June & 8th July) for which there will be an overall series ranking result and special prizes!

What you'll need

General kit list:

• Trainers
• Shorts/Leggings
• T-Shirt or top
• Water bottle
• Towel

Swimming:

• 1 or 2 piece costume for ladies
• Trunks or shorts for men
• A wetsuit if your swim is open water
• Don't forget your goggles!

Biking:

• Bike* (any bike will do)
• Helmet
• * If this GO TRI activity uses spin bikes, you don't need to bring your own bike *

Running:

• All you need is a pair of trainers
