Description

Come and enjoy a disability-specific aquathlon, an open water swim and run event held on the site of the World Triathlon Para Series Swansea hours before the worlds' best paratriathletes take to the course.

Anyone with an impairment is invited to take part to swim and run - whilst the swim course will be set at a maximum of 100m, don't feel like you need to complete the full distance. Similarly, we have a 500m run lap, which you can do once or twice, or even less if you want!

For those of you who would prefer a sterner challenge, a leg of the British Triathlon Paratri Super Series will be held before the GO TRI, inviting both classified and non-classified competitors.

Once you have completed your GO TRI, stay and watch the world's best go head-to-head. World Triathlon Para Series Swansea is part of a wider Para-Sport Festival held across the city, where there will be multiple para-sport engagement opportunities to explore.

What you'll need

General kit list:

• Trainers
• Shorts/Leggings
• T-Shirt or top
• Water bottle
• Towel

Swimming:

• 1 or 2 piece costume for ladies
• Trunks or shorts for men
• A wetsuit if your swim is open water
• Don't forget your goggles!

Running:

• All you need is a pair of trainers
