Description

Leighton Buzzard Triathlon Club are presenting their ever popular Children's Triathlon once again. The event is suitable for beginners and elite junior athletes alike. However we increasingly get asked if we could utilise the same course for older athletes to try the sport, so we have decided to pilot a GO TRI Triathlon aimed in particular at people interested in trying a multi discipline event over a relatively easy course as a taster introduction to the sport.

Our partners in this event are ATW and they provide a host of events suitable for beginners to elite triathletes. The event is a fun way of trying out the sport. There will be a medal for finishing, but no podium, the challenge will be against yourself to finish and cross the line smiling!

What you'll need

General kit list:

• Trainers
• Shorts/Leggings
• T-Shirt or top
• Water bottle
• Towel

Swimming:

• 1 or 2 piece costume for ladies
• Trunks or shorts for men
• A wetsuit if your swim is open water
• Don't forget your goggles!

Biking:

• Bike* (any bike will do)
• Helmet
• * If this GO TRI activity uses spin bikes, you don't need to bring your own bike *

Running:

• All you need is a pair of trainers
