GO TRI Local is for people that are brand new to swim, bike and run and looking to take their first steps in a safe and enjoyable environment. GO TRI Local Milton Country Park is a monthly opportunity for new and aspiring triathletes to come and give a duathlon (which consists of run, bike, run) a go in a fun and non-competitive environment, with a fully off road course enclosed within Milton Country Park.
Those aged 8-14 years old will do 1km run, 2.4km cycle and finish with a 500m run, starting at 9.45am. Those aged 15+ will do a 1.5km run, 4km cycle and finish with a 1km run this will start at 10.45am. The parent and child wave will occur with the junior wave at 9.45am. The parent and child wave allows those juniors from the age of 6 upwards to take part but they must always remain within sight of the adult they are taking part with - you must book both the adult and child separately in this wave.
We understand the New Year brings new goals and we will have a wave of the full distances and also a 'pick your laps' option where you can do shorter distances if you wish and decide how you feel on the day to ensure you feel empowered to sign up and kick start any New Year Goals!
