Event Start Time - 9:30am

GO TRI Local is for people that are brand new to swim, bike and run and looking to take their first steps in a safe and enjoyable environment. GO TRI Local takes place within the heart of your community; at the same time, on the same date, at the same place, with your own tracked distances every month allowing you to see your progress over time.

GO TRI Local Sunderland Foundation of Light is a monthly opportunity for new and aspiring triathletes to come and give a triathlon/aquathlon (which consists of swim & run) a go in a fun and non-competitive environment, within the aquatics centre and around the stadium of light.

PARENT AND CHILD EVENT By entering the Parent and Child event, you are agreeing to the following:
- Your child is a competent swimmer and has open water experience.
- You will take part with/supervise your child maintaining line of sight throughout the entire event.
- Both the parent and child must wear swim caps (provided at the event).

If you are entering the Parent and Child event, please complete separate entries for both the parent and child

What you'll need

General kit list:

• Trainers
• Shorts/Leggings
• T-Shirt or top
• Water bottle
• Towel

Swimming:

• 1 or 2 piece costume for ladies
• Trunks or shorts for men
• A wetsuit if your swim is open water
• Don't forget your goggles!

Running:

• All you need is a pair of trainers
